Picture Your Child Having a Blast at Our Day Camp This Summer!

Conveniently located in Huguenot, 5 miles north of Port Jervis, NY.  Not to be confused with our 26 great day camps in New York City, this day camp is 90 miles NW of New York. 

It’s a world of Discovery and Creative Fun every day!

  • For boys and girls, K - 8th grade
  • Cool off every afternoon with a swim in Lake Marling
  • Discovering frogs, butterflies and wooded paths on our 1,150-acres
  • Different activities every day that increase skills and develop new interests.
  • A YMCA-trained staff that teaches values, skills and cooperation.

The Summer is Easy with Extended Care, Lunch & Snacks!
Camp runs weekdays from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM with optional extended care from 7:30-8:30AM and 4:30-5:30 PM.

2009 Weekly Theme Weeks

  • Week 1: Ecosystem Explorers - Gives campers the opportunity to explore the forest, play in the streams and bug hunt in the pond, while learning about our local habitats.
      
  • Week 2: Incredible Edibles - Campers will discover the joy of cooking as they create delicious treats and sculptures that can be recreated at home.
     
  • Week 3: Rocketry - Join us for an out of this world experience. Study parts of our solar system and create a rocket to launch on Family Fun Friday! 
     
  • Week 4: Outdoor Survival - Learn camping skills, while setting up camp and learning to cook traditional camping snacks over the fire.
     
  • Week 5: Spirit Week - Take part in our 1st Day Camp Olympic Games!
     
  • Week 6: Eco-Challenge - Run, jump and dash through scavenger hunts, amazing races and obstacle courses in a race to save our planet.
     
  • Week 7: Rockstars - Become a music idol and create a band as you prepare for our Family Fun Friday Concert of Rock.
     
  • Week 8: Wild West - Travel back in time to our abandoned ghost town as we chase bank robbers, cowboys and sheriffs.
     
  • Week 9: Hard Hat - Can we fix it? Yes we can! Learn woodworking techniques and use them to create a final project to be presented for Family Fun Friday.
     
  • Week 10: Mad Scientist - Campers love to use their minds and get messy as they create an array of wild and new experiments that help explain the world around us.
