Greenpoint YMCA / ExxonMobil SYSTEM Returns for a Third Year
July 10th marked the kick-off of the third summer of Summer Youth in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (SYSTEM), a paid internship program created in 2010 by the Greenpoint YMCA in partnership with ExxonMobil and New York University (NYU) that offers local high school students intense, hands-on exposure to the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) while also helping them develop a direct connection to the Greenpoint community.
