Our nutrition education and weight-management classes are designed to provide education to individuals who are interested in maintaining their ideal body weight or losing weight. Nutritionists will assist and support you by reviewing your diet using weekly food diaries and making suggestions for healthier alternatives. It also includes optional pre/post fitness assessments, optional weekly weigh-ins, healthy recipes for you and your family and weekly walk/running programs to ensure you are getting the most out of your exercise routines.
Body fat percentage is measured using skinfold calipers and/or an electronic body composition monitor. Please wear loose fitting clothing as we will need to access the thigh and abdominal areas (and chest for men). Weight will be taken on a digital scale. Tests will be conducted in the privacy of our Fitness Consultation Room located in the Cardio Center.Find a Class
