BOLD/GOLD at Camp Talcott

Boys Outdoor Leadership Development / Girls Outdoor Leadership Development

Leadership Development, Team Building,
& Outdoor Adventures

One or two-week trips exploring some of the best outdoor playgrounds that our Tri-State region has to offer. These trips emphasize learning independence, environmental awareness, and social peer interaction.

Activities for campers include hiking, camping, canoeing, tubing, climbing, high team adventure, backpacking, and more!

Our primary focus for these adventures, as well as our other programs, is safety. Our trip leaders will receive two weeks of training focused on working with children and ensuring safety in an outdoor environment. On top of these two weeks our adventure staff must have certifications in Wilderness First Responder, Lifeguarding, and First Aid/CPR.
