Camping

Through the years, the camping venues have changed, but the character values of the YMCA-- caring, honesty, respect and responsibility-- remain and continue to be taught to thousands of children each year.  Whether at our sleepaway camps in Huguenot or our 30 day camps throughout the five boroughs, we work to make sure each camper have the opportunity to learn new skills, meet new people, work as a team, and upon departure have become a fuller person, a better friend, and a more adventurous soul!

We welcome all children and pride ourselves on the cultural diversity of our campers and counselors. We strive to create a safe and positive environment where the campers can flourish in self-challenge, creativity, friendship and fun.
