The 3rd annual Assets Youth Conference at Hunter College, on Wednesday May 30th, 2007 from 8:30-4pm is themed More Assets. More Power. as a reflection of the NYC Assets Youth Council’s mission to inspire action for change in our communities.  The Youth Council members have worked for months to develop all of the workshops offered, which will explore Developmental Assets– the relationships, supports and experiences young people need to thrive– and how they empower youth.  Join us and see first-hand how young people can create powerful learning opportunities for each other, as well as for adults.

From Poor to Positive Decisions: Teens & the System

The NYC Assets Youth Council has worked for months to develop the More Assets. More Power. conference, to inspire action for change in our communities. We invite you to participate and bring up to 20 young people to see first-hand how young people can create powerful learning opportunities for each other, as well as for adults.
 
All of the workshops offered will explore Developmental Assets—the relationships, supports, and experiences young people need to thrive—and they empower youth in NYC.
